The Lonnie Zamora Incident (1964)
Police officer Lonnie Zamora saw an egg-shaped craft and two small beings while on patrol in Socorro, New Mexico. He noticed landing gear impressions and burn marks where the object had been. The respected officer described hearing a roar before witnessing blue flames. Project Blue Book investigators found Zamora highly credible. Physical evidence included depressions in the ground forming a landing pattern. The case remains among the most compelling in UFO history.
