The Japan Air Lines Encounter (1986)

Captain Kenju Terauchi and his crew spotted three UFOs while flying over Alaska. One object appeared to be twice the size of an aircraft carrier. FAA radar confirmed something was there for over half an hour. The veteran pilot later faced ridicule despite his spotless record. Controllers in Anchorage verified the radar tracks. The smaller objects maneuvered around the jumbo jet with impossible precision. Terauchi described one as “walnut-shaped.”
