The Kazakhstan Jetpack Man (1936)
A teenage girl in Soviet Kazakhstan reported seeing a humanoid figure in black flying across the sky. She described a man with what looked like a helmet and backpack, hovering briefly before zooming upward. Her detailed sketch survived in Soviet records. No jetpack technology existed at that time. Soviet authorities dismissed her account as imagination. The description seems strangely modern for a 1936 sighting, making it an intriguing historical case.
