The Levelland Car Stalls (1957)

Drivers across Levelland, Texas, experienced engine failures as a glowing, egg-shaped object passed overhead. Police officer A.J. Fowler logged numerous calls reporting the same phenomenon. Witnesses described a blue-green light about 200 feet wide. Cars resumed working after the object moved away. At least fifteen people reported identical experiences that night. The Air Force blamed ball lightning despite clear weather conditions. This case stands out because multiple unrelated witnesses reported the same effects.
