The Robert Taylor Incident (1979)
Scottish forester Robert Taylor stumbled upon a dome-shaped craft in a clearing. Two spiked objects rolled out and grabbed his pants. He woke up later with torn clothes and strange marks on his body. Police found unusual ground depressions and ladder-like marks in the soil. They treated it as an assault case. Taylor had no history of making up stories. His torn clothes and the ground evidence puzzled investigators for years.
