Liquor Bottles With Drug Infusions
Alcohol shipments contained more than just spirits when customs discovered narcotics chemically bonded with the liquid. The smugglers dissolved drugs directly into bottles of liquor, making detection extremely difficult. The mixture could later be separated through a chemical process. A laboratory test during a random inspection identified the presence of substances beyond normal alcohol components.
