Underwater Drones Disguised as Fish
Coastal patrol units captured modified drone submarines designed to look like large fish. These remote-controlled devices transported drug packages beneath the water’s surface, avoiding traditional radar detection. The smugglers controlled these “fish” from distant locations. An observant patrol officer noticed the unusual swimming pattern that didn’t match natural fish movement.
