Trump’s presidential campaign centered on a program that he called “America First.” He wanted to severely curb immigration, not only immigration but also legal immigration, as well. He also wanted to withdraw from trade deals, such as NAFTA, and international agreements, including the sending of foreign aid and financial support of the United Nations, that he felt were harmful to America.
