Tora! Tora! Tora! (1970)

American and Japanese directors joined forces to recreate Pearl Harbor’s attack with unprecedented accuracy. The film tracks both sides during the months leading up to December 7, 1941, showing the miscalculations and missed warnings. Actual survivors served as technical advisors, helping recreate details down to radio transmissions and aircraft formations. The production used real warships and historically accurate replicas of Japanese planes.
