62. Last of the Medicine Men
Benedict Allen is known as a filmmaker, writer, and explorer. He has a role in several TV shows, including “Last of the Medicine Men” and “Expedition Africa.” He is also the author of several books, such as “Mad White Giant,” “The Proving Grounds: A Journey Through the Interior of New Guinea and Australia,” and “Into the Abyss.” In 2017, Allen disappeared in Papua New Guinea for a short period of time after becoming trapped by community violence. Throughout his journeys, Allen learns and practices survival skills that he learned from the indigenous peoples.
