11. FARC (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia)
The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) waged a Marxist-inspired insurgency for over five decades, deeply affecting Colombian society. Initially fighting for land reform and social justice, FARC grew notorious for its involvement in drug trafficking, kidnappings, and violence. Despite controversy, their struggle drew attention to Colombia’s deep inequalities.
