1. The Notorious Tombstone Jail
Few jails captured the imagination of the Wild West like the Tombstone Jail. Located just steps from the site of the legendary O.K. Corral gunfight, its crude stone cells held some of the most dangerous and infamous outlaws of the era. Tombstone’s jail became a symbol of the era’s rough justice, with notorious inmates like the Clanton Gang passing through its doors.
