35. Flappers Were “Bad Girls”
As the Victorian Age was coming to a close, the vast majority of women still wore long skirts that went down to their ankles. Flappers, on the other hand, wore skirts that (gasp) showed their knees. They also cut their hair short, so they were the girls that boys wouldn’t bring home to meet their parents.
