Robin Williams was a beloved actor and comedian who was known for his parts in films like Mrs. Doubtfire, Hook, and Aladdin. On his birthday in 2014, Robin Williams shared a picture on his Instagram featuring him and his pet monkey, Crystal. He looks so happy, like the man we all know and love. However, only 20 days after the post, he passed away by hanging himself at the age of 63.

Before his death, he had been misdiagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease but actually had a form of dementia. This caused him to experience intense paranoia, which contributed to his suicide. His death came as a shock to the world. How could someone who brought so much joy to others take his own life? Even now, he’s missed by fans who loved him.
