The Nature of These Files
The newly released 80,000 pages include unredacted records and recently discovered files from the FBI and CIA. Among them are 2,400 additional FBI records found in late 2024, misfiled in an unrelated archive. Added to the 6 million pages already public, the collection equals about 160 average novels. Many documents are typed on aging paper from the 1960s, making them fragile and difficult to analyze.
