6. The Swiss Toblerone Line
During World War II, Switzerland constructed the Toblerone Line, a series of concrete anti-tank obstacles resembling the triangular peaks of a Toblerone chocolate bar. Stretching approximately 10 kilometers from Bassins to Prangins in the Canton of Vaud, these “dragon’s teeth” were designed to impede tank invasions.
