6. The Rise of Black Theater
The Harlem Renaissance also saw the emergence of groundbreaking Black theater. Groups such as the Lafayette Players staged powerful productions that centered on authentic Black experiences. These performances broke new ground, shattering prevailing stereotypes and proving the depth and talent of Black actors.
