14. Unresolved Issues of Reconstruction
Reconstruction promised land, voting rights, and social justice for newly freed people, but these efforts were often undermined or left incomplete. The failure to deliver lasting reforms left many marginalized groups without true equality or opportunity. Today, the echoes of these broken promises are still heard in struggles for representation, land ownership, and justice in communities across the nation.
