Created by master jeweler Peter Carl Fabergé between 1885 and 1917, the exquisite Imperial Fabergé eggs were lavish Easter gifts commissioned by Russia’s royal family. Each egg was meticulously handcrafted, containing intricate surprises concealed within layers of precious metals, gemstones, and enamel. Following the Russian Revolution in 1917, many of these magnificent treasures were seized, sold abroad, or mysteriously disappeared. Of the original fifty Imperial eggs, at least seven remain unaccounted for, fueling ongoing searches by collectors, historians, and treasure hunters worldwide. Their loss represents not only a substantial artistic void but also a poignant reminder of Russia’s vanished imperial era.
