3. Camouflage and Concealment
The Viet Cong mastered blending into their environment using natural foliage, dark clothing, and stealth movement. Camouflaged bunkers and hidden camps made detection difficult for U.S. forces. The Viet Cong famously wore sandles with backward prints to confuse American trackers and walked in single-file (via VN Express).
