14. Propaganda and Political Indoctrination
The Viet Cong effectively utilized propaganda and political indoctrination to bolster their cause and undermine South Vietnamese morale. They disseminated leaflets, broadcasted messages, and produced underground newspapers to promote their objectives and expose the shortcomings of the South Vietnamese government. Continuous political education and cultural activities, such as plays and festivals infused with propaganda, kept internal motivation high and reinforced their ideological commitment (history.state.gov).
