In 1919, Bella Wright was discovered dead on a country road in England, her body lying beside a distinctive green bicycle.
Ronald Light, the cyclist spotted with her, became the prime suspect but was ultimately acquitted at trial. To this day, no one knows for sure whether Light or someone else was responsible for Bella’s death. The truth behind the Green Bicycle Mystery appears to have died with those involved.
