8. Ballygally Castle, Northern Ireland
Perched on the Antrim coast, Ballygally Castle is famed for the lingering spirit of Lady Isobel Shaw. Legend has it that Lady Isobel was locked in a tower room by her jealous husband, where she met a tragic end trying to escape. Guests and staff have reported gentle knocks on doors, mysterious laughter, and sightings of a translucent woman in period dress.
