9. Length and Scope of Proceedings
The Tokyo Trials extended for more than two years, significantly outlasting the Nuremberg Trials. The proceedings involved testimony from hundreds of witnesses and the review of thousands of documents, establishing the Tribunal as one of the most thorough war crimes trials ever conducted.
