12. Disgrace and Exile for In-Laws
King Henry VIII’s marital decisions led to the disgrace and execution of the families of his ex-wives, notably the Boleyns and Howards. Anne Boleyn’s brother, George Boleyn, Viscount Rochford, was executed on charges of adultery and treason.
