6. Floki
The eccentric Floki in the series draws inspiration from Hrafna-Flóki Vilgerðarson, the legendary Norse explorer. Known as the first to intentionally sail to Iceland, Floki’s journey is immortalized in the Icelandic sagas. He was also reputed to be a skilled shipbuilder, a trait reflected in his on-screen persona. Floki’s adventurous spirit and inventive mind symbolize the restless curiosity that fueled Viking exploration.
