11. Saudi-Led Blockade of Yemen
Since 2015, Saudi Arabia and its allies have imposed a blockade on Yemen amid the ongoing civil war, aiming to prevent arms supplies to Houthi rebels. This blockade has severely restricted the flow of essential goods, including food and medical aid, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has reported that the blockade has deepened the humanitarian crisis in Yemen, leading to widespread malnutrition and a lack of access to basic services (reliefweb.int).
