14. Apadana Palace, Susa
The Apadana Palace in Susa, built by Darius the Great, features grand halls supported by massive columns, similar to those at Persepolis. Its bas-reliefs and floor plans showcase Persian engineering advancements, comparable to those of Greece and Egypt. The palace was constructed on an artificially raised platform 15 meters high, covering 100 hectares, and included numerous parts such as a residential palace, an apadana (audience hall), a harem, a banquet hall, a monumental gate, and more than 110 rooms, and six courtyards (three central courtyards) (via en.icro.ir).
