In Christian tradition, Friday the 13th’s reputation as an unlucky day is deeply rooted in biblical events. The Last Supper, attended by Jesus and his twelve apostles, included Judas Iscariot as the 13th guest. Judas’s subsequent betrayal led to Jesus’s crucifixion on the following Friday, known as Good Friday.
