Failures of Rebel Coordination

Despite initial successes, the rebellion suffered significantly from a critical lack of unified leadership and coordinated strategy. Rebel forces operated largely independently, often driven by localized grievances and regional loyalties, without a cohesive central command. Communication between various factions remained sporadic and ineffective, limiting their ability to mount collective defenses or synchronized attacks. Additionally, internal rivalries and differing objectives undermined solidarity among rebel leaders, preventing the insurgents from fully capitalizing on their early momentum. This fragmentation ultimately weakened their resistance, allowing British forces to systematically quell the uprising and regain control over India.
