13. Colt Single Action Army Revolver
Introduced in 1873, the Colt Single Action Army revolver, also known as the “Peacemaker,” became a symbol of the American frontier. Its rugged reliability and iconic design earned it a place in both conflict and culture. The revolver was chambered in .45 Colt and featured a six-round cylinder. It was adopted as the standard military service revolver and delivered over 30,000 units from 1873 to 1891 (colt.com). Its design has influenced the production of numerous other models from other companies.
