10. Myth: Only Japanese Planes Were Involved
While the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, is predominantly remembered for its aerial assault, it also involved the use of Japanese midget submarines. These small, two-man submarines were launched from larger “mother” submarines and attempted to infiltrate the harbor to attack U.S. ships.
