The Amber Room, often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” was an opulent chamber adorned with amber panels, gold leaf, and mirrors, located in the Catherine Palace near St. Petersburg. Constructed in the 18th century, it was looted during World War II and its fate remains a mystery.
