12. The Use of Decoys
Inventiveness reached new heights with the deployment of decoys on the battlefield. Wooden tanks, fake artillery pieces, and dummy soldiers were strategically placed to draw enemy fire or mislead reconnaissance planes. These clever ruses diverted attention from real troop movements and valuable assets.
