2. King Hezekiah – Multiple Proofs Found Since 1830s
Ancient records from two great civilizations reveal King Hezekiah’s cunning and determination. In the 1830s, archaeologists unearthed the Taylor Prism, where Assyrian King Sennacherib detailed his failed siege of Jerusalem in 701 BCE. But Hezekiah left even stronger evidence beneath Jerusalem’s streets. His workers cut through solid rock to create the Siloam Tunnel, a hidden lifeline of water for the besieged city.
