8. Reflect Regularly on Mortality
Marcus Aurelius frequently contemplated the Stoic practice of memento mori—remembering one’s mortality—to gain perspective and clarity in life. By regularly acknowledging life’s impermanence, he aimed to appreciate each day fully and avoid trivial distractions.
