15. UN Security Council Veto Power Abuse
A major source of frustration with the UN is the abuse of veto power by permanent Security Council members. Countries like Russia, China, and the United States have used their vetoes to block international action—even in the face of urgent humanitarian crises. This practice has repeatedly paralyzed the Council, making it nearly impossible to address conflicts or human rights violations effectively.
