The Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora, New York, became infamous when inmates Richard Matt and David Sweat staged a highly orchestrated escape in 2015. With the help of a civilian prison worker, the pair cut through cell walls, navigated steam pipes, and emerged from a manhole outside the prison walls.
