7. Merrow
Merrows are mythical sea creatures in Irish folklore, akin to mermaids or mermen, with human-like upper bodies and fish-like lower bodies. They are often depicted with green hair and webbed fingers. Unlike the enchanting sirens of other cultures, Merrows are portrayed as both benevolent and mischievous, capable of forming attachments to humans. (danielkirkpatrick.co.uk).
