18. The Disqualification of Ben Johnson – 1988 Seoul Olympics
The 1988 Seoul Olympics were rocked by scandal when sprinter Ben Johnson was stripped of his gold medal after testing positive for steroids. His record-breaking 100m sprint, once celebrated, became a symbol of the dangers of doping in sports.
