17. Trail of Tears for Multiple Nations
The tragedy of the Trail of Tears was not limited to the Cherokee alone. Other nations—including the Choctaw, Creek, Chickasaw, Seminole, and Cherokee—were all targeted for removal from their homelands. Each group endured its own version of suffering and loss, with thousands dying along different routes west.
