6. Chief Iron Tail

Chief Iron Tail, a warrior of the Oglala Lakota, became legendary as one of the most photographed Native American performers in Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show. His statuesque profile and dignified bearing bolstered the show’s image worldwide. Tour audiences recognized him instantly in portraits and posters.
