With all the talk of AI in the media, we decided to see what all the fuss was about. Right away, we could see the potential of art programs like Midjourney. There is a lot of fear that AI is going to take away jobs. But the truth is, AI still needs that human touch. And it’s not perfect, either. Midjourney artwork still has a lot of issues with finer details, like fingers.
But if we embrace it, we can become a sort of cyborg that is simply more productive than we were without it. As complete history nerds, we decided to let our imaginations go wild with “what if”. We let the AI show us illustrations of an alternate timeline of history. All of these images were created with Midjourney, and we cannot take any artistic credit aside from prompt engineering.
What if Martin Luther King Was Never Assassinated?

We all remember Martin Luther King Jr from his famous “I Have a Dream” speech. If Martin Luther King Jr. had not been assassinated, it is likely that he would have continued to be a significant leader in the Civil Rights Movement, and his impact on American society would have been even more profound. King’s non-violent approach to civil rights activism had a significant impact on American society.
If he had lived, he would have continued to advocate for equality and justice, and his voice would have been even more influential. Things in the perspective, he is the same age as Barbara Walters, who only recently passed away in 2023. Imagine how much good Martin Luther King could have done if he was alive until then. He may have even become the first black president instead of Barack Obama.
